Outstanding collection!!!

I just got a Sheaffer G49x base but no pen. Label says pen could be G493 3d, G495 5d or G498 74d. Do you know where I can find pics of these pens? Believe holder is 'dry socket' but unsure. Thanks.

I have a porcelan base with pheasants painted on it. Made by Lennox for Scheaffer. What pens go with the set and where can I get them? Thanks.

Roger:

Just spectacular! This is the best collection of desk sets that I've yet seen. Thank you for sharing them. I especially like the enamel(?) hunting scene in the 27th photo - I'm not a hunter, but find the colors and scene to be very captivating. again, thank you.

I love shaeffer pens, but I have never seen one in hard rubber. Where would be the best place to look for one?

Hello Roger:

Nice talking to you at the Chicago Pen Show. I am interested in your Sheaffer catalog reprints for 1929-1931 showing the early Balance pens, and would like to know if you offer reprints of some of the old advertisements as well.

Cordially,

Pedro

This is a query rather than a comment...and about the bankers lamp...wondering if you know whether the traditional bankers lamps were made with green glass or painted green.
